Mike Alcaras: Drummer

Originally from the south of France, he began his training at the age of five, taking his first steps on the classical piano at the Paris Conservatoire. At the age of thirteen he began a new stage in his drumming studies.

Throughout his career he has been part of several musical projects until the foundation and consolidation of the group “Les gars dans le coin” which for fifteen years remained on the French music scene giving concerts all over the country.

In 2015 he returned to Spain with great musicians from the Ibizan music scene such as Muriel Grossman, Chelu García, Norberto Rodriguez quartet. Shaka Tribe, Lenox Lounge and a long etc.a.

As a producer, he has worked for George Solar on the Nu nothern Soul label and has participated in the live album Night mares on Wax on Warp records.
